I use mindfulness sayings/mantras to keep my day tuned up. These are short sayings I use as triggers to remember to remember who I am, an Eternal Being, and to elevate my consciousness. It’s easy in the morning after a nice sit-down meditation to have something come along that drags me out of my pure state of awareness into 3d human consciousness:

Maggie dog gets wound up and barks at every sound that comes from outside of the house.

An email comes through that requires my undivided attention

I run out of breakfast cereal because I didn’t put it on the list.

It could be anything that tempts me back into the miasma.

For that reason, I have three mindfulness sayings that I often turn to for an uplift. They are simple but powerful. I just have to remember to use them 2, 3, 4, 5 times a day.

Peace. Be. Still(ness)

This is probably my favorite because it is short, sweet but very direct. It takes on a different meaning when said in a single phrase or when saying each word individually and separately. I use this mantra for almost any situation where just taking a moment to pause, take a breath, and relax into the moment is needed. It’s especially good in a tense moment: before a tough conversation, before beginning a meeting or client conversation, when in traffic.

I live, move, and have my being in Higher Consciousness.

I also use this mindfulness technique frequently, especially when I first get up, to remind myself of the fact that I am alive, moving around, and potentially aware in a world generated by and in-formed by Spirit. When the meaning of this “clicks in” my awareness expands and I am cognizant that my Soul and I are One (in Higher Consciousness).

Elevate, Illuminate, Radiate

These words are an element of my Higher Consciousness Meditation process but stand on their own as well. “Elevate awareness, Illuminate consciousness, Radiate light into my world” I repeat as I take Maggie dog for our morning run. Adding “Elevate, Illuminate Consciousness in my neighborhood”, or “in my town” or “in my Bay Area”. In doing so, I feel like I am contributing to my community.

Three good ways to be “in the moment” with an elevated vibratory rate. Lifting myself up for a minute or an hour. Loosening my ego’s hold on the focus of my attention. Expanding myself into the spiritual being that inhabits this mortal body/mind.
